Dear all,

Are there any night bus services from Izmir to Fethiye? How frequent are they?
Is there a ferry service between the them? I coming to Izmir and hire a car for few days and visit pergamum,sart,pamukkale,efes and then return the car in izmir and go down to Fethiye and spend couple of days there at the beach. Any suggestions and information would be deeply appreciated.

No ferry, check my pages for road maps and distances.Buses usually at night at least 1 or 2. No beach in Fethiye, just Calis or Oludeniz. Car rental is a good idea, just be wary of road signs, they are sometimes confusing and no one keeps to sped limits or lanes.

I am very much impressed with your travel pages. Over 36 visited countries is quite impressive and I am sure you will double it sooner or later.

Coming back to my trip, I have booked a car for 4 in Izmir. The aim is to visit the bergama,sardis,ephesus,pamukkale,prene,dydima,etc. And then return the car in Marmaris. Then make my way down to Fethiye (Oludeniz) for 3 days.
I am told there are many bus services from Marmaris to Fethiye (170km) and I guess everything will be cool.

Anyway, thanks for your information and I wasn't looking for a beach in Fethiye but did find out about some amphitheatre from your travel pages. I will try to pay a visit to that place.

Finally, is there any boat service from marmaris to fethiye?
