Hi, I will be in Antalya in October, and would like to travel to Damascus from Antalya.
I have elderly people with me so taking a long coach journey is not my preference. Ideally I would like to fly, but I've been told I can only do this from Istanbul and then it would not be a direct flight to Damascus.
Can anyone tell me how to get to Damascus and back to Antalya the easiest way possible?

British Airways and British Mediterranean Airways(BMI) fly to Ankara from Damascus but i couldn't see any from there, call and ask, at least Ankara is nearer than Istanbul.Damascus in Turkish is Sam (sham)

my first advice is ;

15-21 September Damascus 111€ (round trip)
01-07 October Beirout 111€ (round trip)
This is for Istanbul flights.If you fly to ANKARA from Beirout add 50€.

My second advice is come to Adana by bus from Damascus and fly to Antalya.

there is direct fligth to Antalya From Adana by http://www.sunexpress.com.tr/

I have checked it there is a promo ticket 29,00TRY to Antalya.

only one airlines (sunexpress) fly directly from adana to antalya.Rest of them fly via Istanbul.

Adana- Antalya road is buy bus worst and longest road in two province of Turkey.It take about 11 hours buy bus.
