Has anyone stayed in this B&B & reserved directly through their website? Actually as far as I can tell you can't book directly but after emailing last week no response. Am I just overly anxious or give the owners a little more time to contact me?

Why not email again?

this is just a suggestion that you write a very short message in very plain english

i email backwards and forwards to Italy - often their english isn't great, my italian is worse - and long complicated message means I put it in the too hard file

unless of course you are emailing them in italian

Have you had any luck with a reponse from the proprietors? I am interested in contacting them, as well.

Thanks for your responses. I have sent a 2nd email but no reply yet. In another forum someone had said it only took 3-4 days for a reply. I will give it until the first of the week & then will send a 3rd email & if no reply a phone call (gosh that will be expensive).

Hello FFF - you haven't said where you are coming from but if from UK calls to Europe are not as expensive as they used to be.
Just work out what you want to say and ask before you dial.

I also tried to reach them and did not get a reply so I just called them and talked to the owner. She was very nice and there is room available so we will go there in December! She said that she does get email but that there is sometimes difficulty getting internet connection! Does anyone know anything else about that area--recommendations for restaurants and wineries?
