Santiago Three week rental in Santiago at the end of October
Posted: Mon September 10, 2007 03:38 AM UTC
My friends are in the process of building a home there and moving from Panama to Futa in late October. They need to stay in Santiago for several weeks to buy a car, wood stove and other supplies not available in Futa for their home.

They are retired and Lived in Florida, bought a coffee farm in Costa Rica and then on to Panama. They went to Chile last Jan = March, bought property, are having the house built now. Should be ready when they arrive.

They are looking for a rental that will accommodate the 2 of them and their 1 medium size (trained) dog for the interim. Does anyone have any suggestions where to look or contact? Any hostels,or hotels that will take a dog?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Diane Lynch for Vicki and Greg

do they prefer to stay at an hotel or would it be a possibility for them to rent an apartment? have any idea where they would like to stay(which neighbourhood)? how much are they willing to pay daily? are they looking for luxury or is simplicity an option?

Thank you for responding - They would prefer a house or apartment that would accept their 3 yr old med. size dog - they are definitely not looking for luxury and something that would be accessible for buying a car, wood stove and supplies - maybe in Providencia. However they just anxious to find a place to accommodate the 3 of them. Any suggestions would be appreciated - I tried looking in the classifieds, but I haven't found anything and my Spanish is limited.

Hope to hear from you, Sincerely, Diane Lynch for Vicki and Greg Larsen
