How warm is the weather on average during the wet season?

Hot and humid....30 to 33 degrees...........and lots of heavy rain..

The wet season officially starts around about December, then goes through to around April.
Each year can be different, the rains can start at the end of October, November
This however doesn't mean that it rains continually, you can have a couple of hours of heavy rain, or a few days, OR just overcast.
It all depends on the weather Gods.

From October onwards the humidity starts to go up....and up as the months pass.

If this is the only time you can visit this area, don't let this put you off as all accommodation is usually has aircon and fans etc, everything is built around the weather, also you can do all the tourist things, you may get a bit wet, but never cold!!!!

I have only been in cairns at the end of the wet season and just recently! Whenever the season...go...Its one of the greatest areas in Oz

I'd think about it carefully, it depends where you are from and what sort of climate you are used to.
If you are not used to heat and humidity and you struggle when it's 30c and dry, it may be totally unbearable for you.

may i know when is the best months or weather to visit Cairns?

I think the best time to visit Cairns is from late July/August/September, October and November can also be great, but November can be the start of the wet season.
August/September is when the weather is great, you can still swim in the beaches as the stingers aren't around. Perfect!! The last 4 plus weeks here have been wonderful.
