Angkor Wat Where to get a tour guide?
Posted: Fri September 7, 2007 08:42 PM UTC
Hi there,

on 25.-28.09.07 we are visiting Siem Reap and looking for a qualified german speaking tour guide for the temples for 2 or 3 days. Where could we book one?

Thanks a lot.

I haven't been to Siem Reap in a few years but when I was there my hotel had a list of drivers and tour guides. This was a cheap $10 a night hotel, I would imagine that the more expensive places would be able to help you out with even more choices.

Often a travel agency can also assist you with tours too! Can't recommend any specific person though. A simple Google check came up with quite a few hits, like this one: http://siemreap.raffles.com/z879/city_guide_attractions.html

Good luck.
Hal

Hi Elly,
Have you got your tour package already?
Strongly recommend you to take this one - www.thevillasiemreap.com they provide tuk tuk drivers and guide from the villa too, hence it is extremely safe and reliable.

Do have a read on some posting back i recommended this in the forum too. Very personalised service. Most of all, the package is not too pricy. I recommended to many before and they loved this place.

They have packages for 2N or 3N too - please check out the website. Feel free to email you on your requirements on having a German tour guide and they will be able to arrange it. You can also tailor make your package as it is flexible.
