Isla de Fuerteventura Where to stay?
Posted: Fri September 7, 2007 03:29 AM UTC
My wife and I are considering a week's holiday in Fuerteventura next March but unsure where.

We are looking for somewhere with a bit of night life but not too busy. More chilled out G&Ts by the harbour than Vodka & Red Bull with "Drum & Bass!"
Lots of good food & not too many "Full English Breakfast" Cafes & "Red Lion" pubs full of package tourists.

A Naturist beach within walking distance that’s not too windy, would be nice as we don't like being by the pool everyday. Also Naturist beaches within a short drive as we will hire a car too.

Sounds like a tall order!

Any help would be appreciated! Many Thanks.

i had been in fuerteventura in april, and there is no too much turisms there, so you can practice nuturist in all the beaches.

Hi there!!

Caleta de Fuste is a really nice place to stay for couples. A good selection of bars and restaurants but not too touristy. Also really easy to get around from here.

I didn't really notice the beach when I was here but I have read that it is quite nice? There are some lovely beaches by the Dunes of Correlejo though which isn't too much of a drive away (about 20 mins).

We loved the Island and we are hoping to return in the future - both with and without the children.
