Hi all. I would like to know if there is a really good shellfish restaurant in lagos, or portimao, and the best places to be in lagos on New years eve? All sugestions welcome. Thank you all

the best shellfish in all algerve is made in a tıny little restaurant called "casinha do petisco".
it's located in the old part of lagos and looks like a little crappy snackbar but the owner louis has a golden touch with his food.
ask the locals for the adress.
most people know him because he's so damn good.
the restaurant is just around the corner from "whytes bar".

Ive lived in lagos before but havent been there in years. i used to go to a place called jotta 13, but i will try your suggestion this time. my partner never been to a proper shellfish place yummy. by they way, do you know if its still there that place that makes grilled chicken, take away like.. it used to be near the bus station? i haven't been to lagos for a while myself so i don't know about the chicken place.

i used to live in lagos myself in 1999 and 2000.
i worked down the marina with the boat excursions.
we might even have met back then :O)

i used to be responsıble for the sale of about half the boat trips leaving lagos.
i worked on the avenida for 2 summer seasons.
i worked with paolo santos and the big boats via sagres and via lagos, plus a few other boats.

i guess i made myself most famous for dating his daughter and having the biggest sh!t fight with him after we broke up in the middle of the avenida :O)

I think it must be wicked to have a father like that :)
