I am planning a trip to Krasnoyarsk next month and was wondering if anyone knows of a local car rental companie near Hotel Krasnoyarsk. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Here are 2 rental companies of Krasnoyarsk and its sites:

http://www.prokatov.ru/en/about/ - in english; the company's name is "Prokatov". The office of the company is located on the right bank of the river Yenisey on Predmostnaya square. It is not so far from hotel "Krasnoyarsk".

http://www.kras-prokat.ru/- the company's name is "RCK" ("Renta-Car Krasnoyarsk"); it's office is located near the Krasnoyarsk's inter-city bus station, on the street Aerovokzal'naya. But RCK's site don't has any information in English ):

On the car it will be easy for you to visit such sights of Krasnoyarsk region, as Krasnoyarsk Columns (Krasnoyarskie Stolby) and a dam of Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station. The last one is located in the city Divnogorsk near to Krasnoyarsk.
Also, in twenty kilometers from Krasnoyarsk there is a viewing platform with a good view on the river Enisey. It is located near the village Slizniovo on the road to Khakasia. On a viewing platform there is a monument to the Russian sturgeon, the well-known fish; in the same place you can buy different Siberian souvenirs.
