What to pack for my trip

Hi,

I am going to Croatia from September 26 to October 13. I will be on the coast (from Dubrovnik to Split) from September 26 to October 10, then I will go to Krka, Plitvice and Zagreb from October 11 to October 13. What kind of clothes should I be packing for that time of year?

The weather's been kind of funny for the last few days. Take some light summer clothes to wear during the day (and only in Dalmatia). Cardinags, long sleeves and long pants are a must in the evening since it's been kind of chilly.. as for Plitvice and Krka, you'll need a jacket or cardigan cause the temperature there is much lower than on the coast

Hi Along the coast should be good weather early October, even swimming , but take a jacket as it could get a little cool at night. We were there mid October'05, sunny days but water too cold for an Aussie used to warm water. When we visited Plitvice there was ice on the ground as we entered the park, see photo on my pages, but it warmed up during the day, it will be cool to cold at night depending where you come from.

You will have a great time in Croatia,
