Hi! I am going on a business trip to Stuttgart next week, and I am wondering if the shops will be open after the office hours? I will be working near train station.

Thanks a lot for the info! It is really helpful to know!
Just one more thing - are there any pharmacies in these department stores?
I live in Sweden, and here almost everything is on prescription, and I thought of getting something from Germany.

No. But there are pharmacies close by.

I'm not sure if there is a big difference on this. Some things are only "apothekenpflichtig", i.e. you can buy them without a prescription but only available in pharmacies.
