It would probably be best to read the reviews. If there aren't any here on VT, Yahoo! Travel will certainly have some.
Also, this was apparently a Wyndham Garden until very recently.

That's at kind of the end of Phoenix (the 202 is the border for the Gila River Indian Community). Not overly convenient for seeing things, but I'm not sure that you're going there for sightseeing. The Chandler Blvd. exit is somewhat sparse, but there's quite a bit at the next exit up, Ray Road.
Hope you have a car.

Thanks for the info. Is there something at the Gila River Indian Community? We plan to spend only one night in Chandler and we will have a car. What is at the Ray Road exit do you know? Also I am expecting pretty hot weather (I'm from PA and it's finally cooling off here)am I right? Also do you know anything about the Sunday Buffet at the Wrigley Mansion? Thanks so much for all your info.

As for things to do, there is a casino near where you'll be staying in Chandler: Gila River Wild Horse Pass Casino is adjacent to the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and is located just off the I-10 freeway on Wild Horse Pass Blvd. (exit 162), this is the biggest casino in Phoenix, Arizona.

At the Ray Rd exit, there are mostly chain restaurants on either side of the Interstate. You'll be able to see what's available from your car. You might try RA Sushi on the west side of the I-10 off Ray Road.

As for the weather, we're still at or above 100 degrees during the day and around 85 at night... this will go on through about the end of October.

Sorry I'm no help on the Sunday buffet at the Wrigley Mansion... I know several people who have been to lovely weddings there but never for brunch. I can definitely recommend the brunch at Lon's at the Hermosa... not far from the Mansion... at about 32nd Street and Stanford... search for the Hermosa Inn - it's fantastic.

Thanks for all the good info about Chandler area. Any idea what the cost of the Sunday Brunch at Hermosa might be? It looks like this is one VERY nice place! Again thanks!
