hi my mother is going into hospital at landock please could you give us a list of guest houses or hotels near the hospital. many thanks muttybutty

If you want to stay in Cardiff city you will find many hotels and guest houses. There is a frequent bus service direct to Llandough hospital from Cardiff so transport will be no problem.
Llandough is pronounced Llandock with the 'dough' pronounced 'dock', not 'doe'.
You will find the hospital to be an imposing Victorian style building which is in need of some refurbishment. Don't be put off by this as the quality of medical care is as good as at any other hospital. I have had many visits there over the last few years to see several different consultants and ALL the staff were first rate.
