fussen to oberstdorf

Hi,

Is it possible to get a bus from Fussen to Oberstdorf? If so, what is the frequency and about how much does it cost? Would I have to book in advance?
It seems to be difficult to travel around that area without going to Munich.
Also, is there a bus that goes from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Fussen?

The DB timetable shows also buses - if they give the faster connection. Normally the trains are however faster, even if the route is quite a detour.
From a certain length on the Bavaria Ticket Single (EUR 19,00) is your friend. Covers the regional trains and buses.

From Füssen to Garmisch you have also the option to go by bus to Vils or Reutte (both in Austria) and from there by train to Garmisch. This railroad (the Ausserfernbahn) is also covered by the Bavaria Ticket even on the parts through Austria. But I'm not sure if the bus from Füssen to Vils/Reutte is covered (only a short distance however).
