Sorry mistake in date it is from 6th Sept till 12th sept this month 07.

Dear All,

I will be going to Mauritius from 6th Sept till 12th Sept 2007 for a week. Kindly advice what is the best place to see in these 6 days. I am an Indian national and will be traveling alone from Dubai to Mauritius and back.

All kind of advices are accepted.

Hi - it's easy to get around. Take a bus, take tour, or rent a car. Some sights to see include:

Port Louis - you can do a walking tour (markets, churches, museums - including the National Museum of History where you'll see a dodo). Along the Caudan waterfron there's a casino and a movie theater that plays Hindi movies.

La Vanille Crocodile Park - be sure to try the crocodile fritters! (This is where my VT picture with the turtle is from.)

L’Etoile - great fun on a 4-wheel (quad) adventure

Ile aux Cerfs - Take the ferry over for some beautiful beaches and watersports

Sacred lake of Grand Bassin and Hindu temple

Chamarel - Waterfall and 7 colors of earth

Blue Safari Submarine

Sega dancing show
