is driving an option? if so, rent a car and take to the road. a few of my girlfriends and i drove from Seville to Marbella and it was a fun journey. beautiful scenery and if you've got your own vehicle, you can stop wherever you'd like along the way. the roads in Spain were in excellent condition and well marked. I believe the trip took us 5-6 hours, with stops along the way.

I took the bus from Marbella to Seville. It wasn't too bad and the scenery was very nice.

You can take a bus from Marbella via Ronda which is about one hour up the top of the mountain ! The actual journey if you do not get off at Ronda would take about 4 hours to Seville.
