Hello,
is there anybody who had seen a white motorcycle Indian Chief from 1938 in Egham. The bike must stand at 16, whitehall lane Egham, Surrey TW20 9NE Excist this adress?? Lives there a Mr. Postulart??? I wouldn`t drive from Germany to Egham for nothing. Thanks a lot Michael |

The address certainly exists (see map on link):
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=501043& I can't find anything about the person though. There is no record of a phone/electoral register entry of that name at that address. This does not necessarily mean anything sinister; many people in the UK are not on the electoral roll (I think it's a Dutch surname, so he may not be a UK citizen anyway), the phone may be ex-directory, non-existent as a landline or not listed under the name you have given. I think it's fairly unlikely that someone would advertise such a specific item and not be serious about it, but whether you drive to the UK or not is up to you, obviously.

There must be an Indian owners association in the UK, you could maybe ask them?
