yeah Cebu is the best way to go to Bora, if theres a Super cat via Cebu , or flight goin to Cebu..then just take any of the two then there would be planes goin to caticlan...there will be small boats in caticlan from 6am-6pm that will bring u to boracay island

There is one flight daily from CDO to Cebu. Go to www.asianspirit.com as this is the only airline from CDO to Cebu. The cost is reasonable and the flight is comfortable. Onc in Cebu you have a number of options to Boracay.

I'm not familiar with sea travel, but on my last trip to Dumaguete (which was 2 weeks ago), our tour driver informed us that Ceres Bus Line will soon open a Mindanao-Manila route that will pass through Caticlan. You may want to consider this although I don't know which city of Mindanao will the trip emanate from nor how long would the travel time be.

all i know is that there are only three major sea carriers that ply the rout of cagayan to cebu. the cebuferries of aboitiz shipping, trans asia and sulpicio lines. MV RITA SR. of gothong is i think is of cebu - dumaguete route and have a ports of call in caticlan.

the most convenient way from cdo to bora is a boat to cebu, then a plane from cebu to caticlan. the plane ticket will cost around 2500-4000 depending on the season. I recommend seair, pricier than asian spirit but better planes. only 45 minutes. Another route possible would be a boat to Iloilo then a bus from iloilo to caticlan for mga 5 hours. Cheaper by around 500-800 pesos each but it'll take about 20 hours longer.
