| Sint Maarten | st-maarten question-where to leave belongings while at beach Posted: Tue August 28, 2007 04:29 PM UTC
Hi there,
I was wondering....if we dont rent a car...where do we put our stuff while in the water at the beach? in assuming its not safe to just leave it on the sand? (im talking about any clothes/shoes, towels, cameras, ids, money etc that one might carry around.) Thanks for your help! |

We did all the beaches in one day with a rental car a few years back and kept hearing about rental cars being broken into Our experience was that in most cases you couldn't see your car from the beach. So we took just the bear minimum to the beach and left nothing in the car. We had water proof wallets to place money and id. You can them at Walmart or your local scuba shops. Our stuff on the beach was fine. Oh yeah if you are going in the water take your water proof camera with you. Enjoy your trip
