Can anyone tell me if there are specific days when there are no ships in port in Ochos Rios. We are going soon and wish to book tours and would like to see dolphin cove on a day when it is not so busy. Any other tips would be useful. We will be leaving in about 3 weeks and want to make the most of our experience. Hope to hear from some of you.

Hi!Having taken a cruise last year I know the "towns" that the ship visits gets very crowded and believe it or not the prices for the shops and markets goes up for that day!. I have checked out ncl,carnival, rcl's schedules and the ships come in on different days. There are 4 of us going in October and we were concerned about that as well. Enjoy your trip! P.S. this is our first time to Jamaica. So I don't know much about the areas.

Cruiseships usually come in Tue,Wens & Thurs.
But can come any weekday. Consider going to JamesBondBeach about 20 minutes east of Ochee. Great food, beautiful beach and very quiet. Closed on mondays ~Enjoy
