Hello,
yes, there is a direct train connection between Innsbruck and Garmisch. The ticket costs around 13 Euros. www.bahn.de Greetings, Elena

Elena has confirmed the price. You can find the timetable on the DB website. The trains run every 2 hours and will take about an hour. It's a cracking train ride for scenery and well worth the trip. Buses in the area are available but I can't recall a service to Innsbruck. I think that is because they concentrate on travel to places where there is no rail connection like Wallgau and Kochel am See. RVO provide the service in the Garmisch area but it's not a very frequent service.
