My wife and me are travelling to XIAN april 2008.
We will like to hire an english speaking guide.Could you recommend us a local guide and a 3 to 4 stars hotel. Thank You |

We stayed at the Bell Hotel which we felt was a perfect location for the major sites in Xian. We hired a guide through the hotel. Have a look at our page for the details.

My pet recommendation would be for Shaanxi Wenyuan Hotel, great location right on Bell Tower square and Muslim Quarter.

I would stay at the new Howard Johnson Hotel not far from the city wall. Enjoy!

I stayed at the Prince International Hotel in Xian a few weeks ago and it was an excellent 4* that was really more of a 5* hotel. Stay in a suite. Prices just a bit about a standard room and the suites are beautifully done and very roomy.

I stayed at the Diamond International hotel which is near the city walls. 4 star and very spacious (deluxe room). Has 2 king sized beds.
