I saw that the Isle of Skye's jazz festival was scheduled for the weekend of Oct 12 but the link was to an non existent web site. Can anyone confirm the festival?

I can't find any online information on this for 2007, which suggests it's not a particularly big event (or they are very late in uploading/it's not going ahead). I suggest you email the tourist information people at info@visitscotland.com . They will definitely be able to give you more up-to-date information.
