I will be in Valleta on a cruise ship for 7 hours. Any suggestions on how to use our time? place, restaurant and "non touristic" stores. Also what kind of food they eat in Malta?
Thanks, Adela |

We did a port stop there a few years ago. The main town center is an easy walk from the port. You will see a huge church high up on a hill from the port and it is well worth the walk up to it. From there you can walk down hill into the main part of Valleta and the palace. That will take a few hours if you stop for a few beers and lunch.
I loved Valleta and could move there if I could get the spouse to move away from the grandchildren.
