Leuven China town

Is there a China town in Leuven or stores for Asian food? I heard that Brussels had a China town but haven't found anything about Leuven. If there is one, how is the price there? Thank you very much.

I found a shop for Asian food and products:

Thai Shop, Tiensestraat 56, Leuven
Situated across Holiday Inn.

Shops you will definitely find, but i don't think there is a China Town...

Indeed, in Brussels, and in Antwerp too, there is a China town with lots of shops/restaurants/supermarkets/etc.

Good luck!

Thank you two very much. That's really helpful for me. Can you tell me about the price range? I guess these Asian stores are not expensive, like in the US, but just want to make sure. Again, thanks a lot :)

Oh, I just saw Thai shop in the restaurant category. I meant to ask about Asian grocery stores. I'm Vietnamese so I want to cook Asian dishes myself for everday meals. Can you guys give me some information about that too? Thanks.

yes, I understood that you were talking about groceries. My advice remains the same: Thai shop.
I scoured the yellow pages for Leuven, and did not find any other suggestion.

Don't know about price range seonmi. That's only useful if you can compare and only you can do that.
Why don't you go and see, as the Thai Shop seems to be your only option anyway. Maybe there's a street market in Leuven where you can buy some items.

I'll be there in 2 weeks and check it out when I get there. I wanted to know before leaving because if I could buy Asian grocery easily there, I wouldn't have to bring some stuffs from the U.S. Anyway, your replies have been very helpful to me. Thanks a lot, everyone.
