Hello. Is there a train transport from Guilin to Xiamen? How many hours is the train ride? What time is departure & arrival? How much does it cost? Thanks.

Seems there ia no direct train between these two places.

No direct train. You're advised to take an overnight bus to Guangzhou and then change to a train for Xiamen; or take a bus to Nanning and do the same.

I would think there are good coach buses running between Xiamen and Guilin. And even possibly flights?! But I recommend Yangshuo to stay in instead of Guilin. Yangshuo has a nicer setting and is also not as expensive as Guilin. You can take a shuttle bus that runs between Guilin's train station [the bus shuttle departs from the parking lot area closest to the mainstreet] and Yangshuo and it runs regularly.

I tried looking for the bus schedules and they didn't show any Guilin -- Xiamen departures.

There is a coach departure from Guilin Long distance bus station at 14:20 to Xiamen, and 244RMB for a sleeping seat.

Thanks for the info. I'll have Guangzhou instead of Xiamen coz it's nearer Guilin which is my destination.
