Can you plese advise me where to do my food shopping in Split. I am intrested in gourment food and would like to find some speciality shops that sells this kind of goods.

Only thing I can think of is the main market for veggies and fruit (you can find almost anything there). As for spices and exotic ingredients, you'll have to go to the large supermarkets (Billy, Kaufland or Lidl in the city or Mercator and Ipercoop in the suburbs).
