Hello, I'm looking for suggestions about good pubs/clubs/bars in B'ham. Now, my idea of good is not a huge venue, non-commercial, non-chain, with preferably Indie music (no House, Rave, Trance etc.). As far as pubs go, I'm NOT looking for a traditional English pub; I prefer somewhere with unusual decor (maybe some black and white photos on the walls, that kind of thing), somewhere more artistic and alternative. Live bands, jazz sessions welcome. Thanks, if anyone can help! :)

SNOBS is an alternative nightclub on Paradise Circus, Birmingham
(www.snobsnightclub.co.uk). Pubs wise try The Brasshouse on Broad Street.
