Gold Coast Sea world resort

Hi

Thinking of staying at sea world nara resort in mid october after school holidays with my 2 year old. Is the accomodation nice because I have heard some negative things? Which website would you get the best deals on accomodation here. My friend got a really cheap deal a few years ago but the best I can find it 145 per person per night.

Is there other accomodation you would suggest instead with a toddler but still nice?

What is the cheapest way to see the 'worlds'? I saw a deal for a five day pass including sea world, wet and wild and movie world. Is this the best value - if so it wouldn't be worth getting the entry with the accomodation??

Any help from people who have done this trip with toddlers before would be most appreciated.

Hi Angela,

Iam ali from Pakistan lived 5 years in Gold Coast and also worked in Sea World theme park. Nara accomodation is nice adjacent to Sea World Park mono rail will bring you to the center of Park, you can have free unlimited entry of Park if you Nara guest so there is no need to buy best of all world pass.Negative thing abt Nara is that it is located at the end corner of Gold Coast, though Gold Coast is not so big but the public transportation network is very limited the only attraction close to Nara is Sea Wolrd. Surfers Paradise, center of GC around 4-5 kms away. You can get cheap deals in Surfers Paradis for Apartements depending upon your duration of stay , so many websites on Google.
I advise you to stay in Surfers Paradise, its cheap and convenient to move around.
For any further clarification feel free to contact.

Regards

Ali

Hi Angela. My suggestion is Pelican Sands Resort on Tugan Beach about 2 minutes from Coolangatta Airport and right on the bus run into Surfers. This place is right on the beach with awesome views. About 5 minutes up the road by bus is Currumbin Bird Sanctuary that should definately be on your 'must see' list if you have children! Theme park packages can be purchased from the front desk. I just looked up how much it would be for the standard 2 bedroom apartment in September and looks like it is still quite reasonable at $139 a night. Check it out here -
