Stonehenge Evans and Evans/Golden Tours vs Astral Tour
Posted: Fri August 17, 2007 06:20 PM UTC
Hi there!

Just like to ask if anyone took their tour with these companies before to Stonehenge, Windsor and Bath for a day. I am trying to decide which tour operator to use, and these 2 offers the big coach compared to Astral Tour which offers the 16 seater mini coach.

Thanks! Cheers! =)

Over the years I did a lot of tours with Astral tours. They were always reliable, the tourguides were nice and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to do another tour with them.

I went on Anderson Tours - for 39 GBP and they do pick up from several spots. It was a large coach - pretty comfy - and the price includes the entrance to Stonehenge (you get 45 mins to walk around) and also to the Bath Museum. I think we got about 2-3 hours in Bath - but frankly having been to Bath 3 times already, i still have not seen it all. We had a nice quick lunch at Sally Lunns bun that was recommended by our guide - pretty enjoyed it.

hope this helps
