Hi,
I plan to visit Angorwat this 13 Sept. 08 for 4-5 days, would like to have transportation ideas for least expensive plane ticket to Siemreap either from Shenzhen or Hong kong.
Travel companion welcome to share costs.

I know Bangkok Air flies very inexpensively from Bangkok to Siem Reap. So, maybe you fly from HK to Bangkok on one carrier and then Bangkok to Siem Reap on another.

One of the Chinese Airlines recently started up flights between Guangzhou and either Siem Reap or Phnom Penh, according to press reports.

Another cheap option, though somewhat circuitous is budget airlines Thai Air Asia from Macau to Bangkok and then another flight on Air Asia from BKK to Phnom Penh. This option requires a night's stay in Bangkok or Suvarnabhumi International Airport since the Thai Air Asia flights to PP are very early in the morning.

There may be direct flights from Hong Kong International but I don't know any offhand.

In June 2007, I met a lot of mainland chinese at Ankor Wat, I talked to them, they said that they fly direct from Guangzhou to Siem Reap. Just for your information.

Please check with China Southern Airline. They service Cambodia from China.
