| Bermuda | Resort help needed Posted: Thu August 16, 2007 03:45 PM UTC
We are going 1st week of April 2008. We are 40 and celebrating our 10 yrs. annivisary. We would like resort recommendations. Not too secluded of a resort and a medium to high end resort preferred. We are also looking into the MAP plans with dinner included. All suggestions welcome.

Ive been researching Bm. for two weeks now,for a trip in the fall, or winter.I have found the best map of Bermuda, includes hotel locations, is here:
http://www.bermudayp.com/op-guides.html Yep... Bermuda Yellow Pages!! And if you want leads to cottages and privately owned cottages, here are two more websites.. http://www.bermudagetaway.com Great for longer stays too! http://www.bermuda-online.org/accomm7.htm Also, Salt Kettle House, over looking Hamilton is highly recommended by various guide books for pricing and value. and is recommended by Tripadvisor.com. which is another site you could check out for comments by various people re. their stays in Bm.at various hotels. I use Tripadvisor.com all the time. Take negative comments with a grain of salt unless you find lots of negative comments per hotel.

You will find lots of lodgings listed here http://www.experiencebermuda.com/
Click lodging on left side for lots of different options. I think by your post you are looking for something in the resorts option which you will find here http://www.experiencebermuda.com/lodging/index.html?type=resort There are several resorts but nothing is really too secluded in Bermuda because it is so small. You can get plans that cover everything or just meal plans to cover breakfast and the evening meal. Have only experienced Grotto Bay since we have been very satisfied there and continue to return. I have info on Grotto Bay on my site, click on my name icon. We buy the morning and evening meal plan, Breakfast is a real feast and keeps us going with only a snack until evening. We do not sit around or play around Grotto Bay much but go exploring using the public transportation system, buses and ferries, with a pass so can get on and off whenever, where ever and as often as we wish. Will be glad to answer any other questions you have or at least try to. Bill
