| Bermuda | Travel dates first week in APril 08 Posted: Thu August 16, 2007 03:42 PM UTC
We are planning a trip 4/3/08 - 4/7/08. I checked the weather avg. for then and are fine with the fact that it may be too cool to swim ( we are not really looking for a swimming vacation). THis is our first trip to Bermuda and it seems like there is a lot to do, scooters, shopping, sightseeing, etc. Here are my questions:
1. are most of the "tourist" water activities shut down at this time, booze cruises, rental boats, etc? 2. How crowded are the resorts at this time? 3. is there enought to do on the island for 4 days without swimming? Thanks |

Check VT members pages for answers to some of your questions. There are some great tips and info. Try member SeaBiscuit. He was extremely helpful to me when I went to Bermuda last year.

We usually go the end of February for 10 days and never run out of things to do.
This does depend on what interests you have though. Never tried "water activities" so can not help. Resorts are not too crowded in Feb but prices rise in March so they must get more visitors after that. Depending on your interests, there is lots to do, go to Bermuda's official site at http://www.bermudatourism.com/index.aspx and look at 'events' and 'activities' on the bar at top. This should give you a good idea of what is available and then you can fine tune your plans as the time gets nearer and more dates and items get added for your visit time. You can try this calendar too and see if it helps http://www.bermuda.com/events/week.php?cid=&ca Have fun planning and I will try to answer other questions you might have. Bill
