I would like to climb the Zugspitze (via the Hollental) tomorrow on the 15th of August? Is anyone aware of whether crampkns would be required or not?

In a board entry from 11. August I found a message that at the moment they are a must to cross the glacier (blank ice). > I would like to climb the Zugspitze (via the Hollental) tomorrow on the 15th of August? As long as you're not extremely fit and well trained I would not recommend to make this as a one day tour. Better to stay in the Höllentalangerhütte and start early from there on the 2nd day. 2.200 altitude meters (that's really a lot for one day) category "C" (difficult)
