According to the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Foz do Iguaçú and many other towns in Paraná are risk areas for Febre Amarela.

The interior of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo are considered risk areas also, besides the obvious states of the Pantanal and Amazonas. The disease is actually spread by the same mosquito that spreads dengue (for which there is no vaccine), which is more common in Rio de Janeiro.
