Need a recommendation from fellow travelers. Given a choice, which of these will you recommend in Xi'an - Sheraton or Hyatt?

Room cost is not a factor as I will be using Hotel Points for whichever one I decide to go for. However, recommendations on location, level of service, accessibility are indeed something that would help me make the choice.

These two hotel both are five stars hotel,same level of service and so on.so the hotel location is key point for you,if like this.I recommend you choice should be Hyatt hotel,it's located in bustling street,and not far(2--3km, compare with Sheraton) from Bell Tower and Drum Bell Tower as well as Muslim Quater area,walking to visit Great Mosque,muslim street.
the location of Sheraton Hotel is around 6KM to the centre of Xi'an down town,where the Bell Tower and Drum Tower located.
but the heavy traffic always happend in the street between Bell Tower and Hyatt.esp in the rush hour time(17:00--22:00).

I agree. Sheraton is a bit far away from downtown and Hyatt is definetly better in terms of location, restaurants and service. I lived in many top hotels in Xian and in my opinion Hyatt is by far the best.

We stayed at the Hyatt two years ago. The location is ideal.

The rooms looked a little tired and the windows could do with some cleaning. Otherwise, very good experience.
