I am planning a trip in Dec 08 (4 adts and 2 young children aged 4 and 2).
Need some advice on which hotel to book in XMD? 1) Won Star Hotel 2) TS Hotel 3) Royal Castle 4) Nejiang 5) East Dragon Also need advice how to get to Leo Foo Theme Park by train from Taipei? |

With Kids: I'd recommend East Dragon. Convenient on the Freego Bus route stops to and fro Airport. On the outskirts of Ximending(1 min away) without being noisy. Food available all the time.

can i check which hotel is nearest to the XMD MRT - TS Hotel or East Dragon?

East Dragon -you walk through Ximenting to the MRT Exit 6 about 4 mins - a nice walk pased shops.
TS, is a bit closer to Exit 1, but inside you have a long walk to the gates.

i just came back from taipei. Stayed in TS hotel. it's convenient. not too sure of the rest of hotels =)

My folks are coming in shortly and I'm putting them in TS as well(Dad-84 Mom-81)
Hotel is better than staying in my place. Also a lot cheaper otherwise have to buy a lot of new things for the House that I really dont want to get!!!
