I am a US permanent Resident (Indian National)and I will be traveling to India in December. On my way back, I would like to spend 1-2 days at Doha. Do I need to get a Visa for the break of journey in Doha. For example, my ticket will be India-Doha (a separate ticket) arriving Doha on Dec. 12 at 2AM and then another ticket Doha-New York departing Doha on Dec. 12 at 11PM oe Dec. 13 at 11pm.

Yes, you'll need a visa for Qatar. And since you're Indian, you'll need to get it in advance. Ask the airline(s) or a hotel if they will sponsor you.
