I do not know what you mean by "the situation"?
Life is quite normal here, traffic jams morning and evening, hot dry weather, summer..... I do not know about Tearooms, there are many cafes and restaurants in Jerusalem at all price levels.

I was in Jerusalem 9 days of September last year and the situation there was normal at that time. Regards Jesper

The main problem for the tourist in Jerusalem these days is getting heatstroke due to too much walking around without a hat or drinking enough water....
