Hey. I'm in Jerusalem at the moment. The situation...well, there was an incident today in the Old City. I don't think they're very common these days though and I feel completely safe here. I don't know about the Backpacker Tearooms, I've visited the Palm Hostel ( I'm staying with locals but met a kid staying there and spent a few hours there ) right outside the Old City and it seems really good, people were saying good things about it. You could always not make a reservation and then just check out the one you're thinking of as there are loads of hostels in the Old City. Another good thing about the Palm Hostel ( I think that's the name ) is it's right outside the Old City ( across the street ) which may be a bit safer if you're worried about terrorism.

I did think of atmosphere and the food at Backpacker Tearooms. I didn’t think of accommodation in that respect.

I don't know about the tea and the atmosphere but why eat in these tearooms when you have a lot of places right there in the old city? I never heard anyone who wasn't a tourist saying anything about the food in these tearooms.

It was quietly in Jerusalem, but by and in the Damascus Gate the tradesmen offered for sale each other by help of shouting and screaming. We could not find Backpacker Tearooms.
