| Bergen | Hi translation please Posted: Fri August 10, 2007 07:12 AM UTC
Hi
Could someone please translate this..translation please - En eller flere delstrekninger har blitt fjernet fra reisen din fordi togtypen ikke er mulig å bestille på nett. Kjøp denne billetten på stasjonen. Trykk Gå videre for å fortsette uten den ugyldige togtypen. The nsb website switches from English to Norwegian just before I can a quote on the local train from Voss/Bergen ! thanks |

I can't translate word by word but it basically says that one or some parts of your trip can't be booked online and they ask you to buy the ticket at the train station. And then it asks you to click gå videre to continue without the trip that couldn't be booked online.

One or more part-sections have been removed from your trip because the type of train is not possible to book on the net. Buy this ticket at the station. Press Gå Videre to continue without that type of train.

You can't book local trains online, I think. But the Bergen-Voss train runs quite frequently, and the ticket costs ca NOK 150.

Check on the website that the ticket counter is open when you want to buy your ticket (weekend?). I read that you can buy tickets in the tourist information too, I haven't tried.
I booked a ticket on the website, it was cancelled without my knowledge or intention and sold again. The ticket controller was surprised, so apparently this doesn't happen often. Here the website didn't switch languages, but the selection fields were in Norwegian all the time.
