I'm planning quick 3 day photography trip to Beirut in Late September - early October to photograph the leaves changing to their Fall colors. This will be my first visit to Lebanon. Any especially spectacular areas I should visit for this? Anyone else interested in this type of activity?

Hi Daniel,
We certainly have beautiful sceneries in Lebanon, all around our mountains. If you 'll be coming to Beirut and haven't booked your accomodation yet, let me recommend you a 3* budget hotel, very centrally located in Hamra-Beirut, with decent-sized rooms, all equipped with satellite Tv, fridge, A/C , and with very reasonable rates.My contact is myrnaserhal@hotmail.com and I 'll definitely help you. The Cedars are absolutely beautiful! Definately catch them, they are amazing so massive and of course the symbol of Lebanon :)

Thank you Myrna and Lisa for your replies,
The photogenic Cedars are certainly on my must-see list. I miss the scenery from home (Alaska) so I think this will be a very good trip to view something familiar besides the desert. I'm planning a late October trip for 2-3 nights so I will hopefully catch the peaking scenery of fall colors to photograph. I haven't decided yet if I will stay within Beirut or stay at some hotel in the mountains. Which would be better in your opinion(s)? If I decide to stay in Beirut, I will contact you Myrna regarding your recommendation for hotels. Thanks! Daniel
