Could anyone help me, we are traveling to Marmaris and would like information on how to get to Olu deniz via public transport. How long would it take and how much would it cost. many thanks...

You'll have no problem getting to Olu Deniz from Marmaris. Buses run very frequently along the coast and all throughout Turkey and they are very cheap and comfortable. Your best bet is to hop on a bus to Fetiye, the seaside town closest to Olu Deniz. The ride will be a good 4 hours. From Fetiye take a shared-van (i think they call it Dolmus) to Olu Deniz which takes about 1/2 hour to Olu Deniz. Happy trails!

The fast non-stop buses leave Marmaris about every half hour for Fethiye and take about 2 hours for the journey. Try to avoid the smaller, stopping services, as they take an eternity.
