Hellooo everyone!!! I am a european girl arriving in Bali next Saturday. It is my first time and I want to get the best from Bali during my 8 days there!!! But... I need your help because I am a bit lost:( I want to make a list with the best activities in Bali.

I am trying to figure out what are the places of interest (free sightseeing, excursions, trip islands, safari, entertainment parks, shows, best massage, best tailor etc) in Bali. It is quite a big island and I am a bit lost from my internet research, as everyone says different things. I would be trully grateful if the experienced ones out there recommended there own "best Bali list". I had gone to Phuket one year ago but there it was 5-6 must-do-things so it was easy to make the list. But in Bali there are so many things to see and do and I don't know how to choose.

Aaaa very important... Is there some kind of tourist-agent in Bali, where I should go as soon as i arrive and book your "best" reccomendations for a better price? For example in Phuket last year, as soon as I arrived I went to this great travel agent (everybody from Phuket Travel Forum recomended this agent), I booked all the excursions-safaris-shows they had recommended and then went to the best massage shop they had recommended me. Result? Had a great time in Phuket getting the best from the experinence of others to whom I am grateful!!!

Powlows and Peterjhon: you both seem to be the same person. Your English grammar is similarly disjointed enough for me to think you ARE one and the same. In addition, you border on "soliciting" if you are in fact Nick the Driver in Bali. Please watch it. VT is NOT the website for members to solicit themselves, okay? You will be reported if you keep this up.

I'm not the police and frankly, I don't care THAT much. But when solicitor members do this, it makes VT a different experience and we can LOSE members.

I had a most wonderful and inexpensive massage in Ubud at Salon Nur. I believe that I have the contact information on my Bali page. I had other massages but this one was by far the best, even though it was a *bit* rustic.

I loved Ubud, it was my favorite part of my trip. I did not book anything in advance, just wandered along, renting a scooter to explore on my own. I also adored the Monkey Forest Temple.
