Driving in Taiwan
Posted: Thu August 9, 2007 07:19 PM UTC
Hi,

My girlfriend and I are going to Taiwan on 27th December for 3 nights. We would like to hire a car and drive to a scenic spa hotel for two nights, then go into Taipei for one night.

What is it like to drive in Taiwan? I'm used to driving on either side of the road, but if the driving is like China, I might decide to take the train. Also, I don't seem to be able to find any car rental companies, although I'm sure there must be some at the airport.

Any advice would be appreciated, also advice on accomodation.

Thanks

Doug

Hi,
You dont have to drive to get to a good SPA resort. Both are accessible by the MRT and bus or cab.
Apre has a pickup from the Beitou MRT station
