Could someone help.
We will be in Antwerp and will need to get to Heathrow airport to catch an evening international flight. Question----which is the quickest and most convenient way, via Antwerp or Brussel airport ?. Keeping in mind the frequency of flights and transport to the airports.

Have you found a flight from Antwerp to Heathrow Airport? Because I thought VLM only went to London City, although I can't be bothered to check (if you can't!).
IF you could find a convenient flight from Antwerp Airport, of course it would be quicker to get there than to Brussels Airport, otherwise you would have no choice but to go to Brussels anyway, from which there are frequent flights to all of London's airports, see http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/flightinfo/Destinationsandtimetables/?expression=L.
There is a coach from Antwerp to Brussels Airport, see http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/parking_transport/toandfrom/670483, or you can go by train from Antwerpen-Centraal in about one hour, changing at Bruxelles-Nord.

Can't find any Heathrow either. But the coach or the train to Brussels airport is very convenient.
I did both. Advantage by bus, you don't have to change trains and it is maybe more comfortable, disadvantage: it is a little bit more expensive then the train.
