I'll be in Makassar 18-21 August 2007. I'm looking for a mid-range hotel less than USD40@night. The ideal location should be near to restaurants and shopping plazas. Any tips? Thanks in advance

As you landed at Hasanuddin Air Port then you take a Taxi, ask the driver to take you to the Hotel in front of Losari Beach, I am forget the Telephon Number but you can choice LOSARI BEACH INN or LOSARI BEACH HOTEL, both hotel are located side by side and All Taxi Driver know well this Hotel

Thanks for d tip! I will be staying overnight at the Quality Hotel (Jakarta airport) on the 18th August 2007 and take the 7:50am flight by Garuda Airlines to Makassar on the following day.
