Hi
A taxi from JKIA airport to town (city centre) is about$20 and to Gymkhana about $25. This club is in Parklands area but I don't know their service standards and its not famous for hotel services. The exchange rate is 1pound=134 to 136 Kenya shillings but this may change as market changes. I dont know of forex bureaus in Parklands area but Westlands area (about 1/2 dollar by public transport)from Parklands, but most of them are in the city (about 1/2 dollar from Parklands by public transport). Most forex bureaus work on Saturdays upto noon, but sundays are tricky.
A taxi from Gymkhana to Kikuyu hospital is about $20-25 always bargain beacuse drivers will start by mentioning high fares. The route is safe and most parts of Kenya are very safe. Always ask police officers for directions when lost.

You can also use public transport which is very affordable. From city centre to the hospital is about $1.5(Ksh.70)when you use Citti Hoppa buses from the railway station. These buses use numbers for specific routes and for Kikuyu hospital route is number 105 on the driver's windscreen.During peak hours, 7.00-9.00am and 15.00-20.00 there is heavy traffic jam in most roads to and from the city.

Incse you need more information talk to me. I can avail a Kenya booklet to assit you in your movements.

Nice time

I recommend the Citi Hoppa for cleanliness and safety, just to add on to what was stated above. As for exchanging, The Hilton usually has good rates as do the exchange bureau's on Mama Ngina and Kimathi streets.
