Iīve heard that the beach in Argassi is no good. How bad is it? Is it easy if you donīt have a car to reach other, better beaches?

The beach in Argassi is quite narrow and pebbly like most in Greece. However when we were there a while ago, there was a bus from Zante Town up the coast via Argassi to a fabulous sandy beach with beach bar, water sports etc. Free on the outward journey, but a small charge for the return journey unless you hired sunloungers in which case it was free.
