| Plitvicka Jezera National Park | Split-Paklenica-Plitvice-Rovinj Posted: Mon August 6, 2007 09:52 AM UTC
My husband and I are hoping to this in the space of 4 days, departing Split on Sunday and arriving in Rovinj on Wednesday,(short, I know) in September. We could rent a car as a last resort but would prefer buses/trains/local public transport. We would be grateful for any tips on routes and bus companies-especially the Paklenica-Plitvice and Plitvice-Rovinj sections.
Sounds like a wonderful country and can't wait to visit. Thanks in advance. |

As far as I know, there is a bus going from Split to Plitvice, but this bus goes to Zagreb. About getting to Paklenica try contacting them www.paklenica.hr/En/Contact.htm

I am also looking at getting to Plitvice from Rovinj but not sure how to get there by public transport.
Of course i am prepared to stay overnight at some town before i go there so i can appreciate more time in the National Park
